Psalm 145: 1 & 2

On 28th of July 2005 I woke up with severe headache, fever and cold. I could do nothing but sleep the whole day feeling terrible.

At around 2.30pm we left for our "Jesus the answer" weekly prayer meeting at Jebel Ali Church where we gather every Friday in room no.12 (given to us by Rev Fr. John). I had to take help from one of our prayer group member to reach over there.

I was feeling weaker and weaker as we reached. Due to cold and sinus problem I had to breathe through my mouth. We started with the Holy Rosary. I was sitting on a chair in one corner feeling miserable, shivering and my fever increasing to an extent where it was difficult even to speak a word. I was reciting the rosary in the silence of my heart.

After the Holy Rosary it was the time of praise and thanksgiving. We started our praise with the song 'Alleluia' led by Fr. Mathew (Tabor Ashram, Mumbai). Suddenly I experienced that the shivering stopped and headache disappeared. Breathing had become easier, then the fever gone and I was sweating.

The next thing I knew that I was on my feet singing and dancing giving praise to my heavenly Father.

I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
