September 2004 we had to rush to India as my dad was hospitalized, he was serious and sinking. Our prayer family 'Jesus the answer' was on their knees interceding.

He was so weak that neither could he speak nor sit, stand or walk, lying on the bed awaiting death. He was detected with one of the most dreadful disease cancer with many other complications. A person who was never sick and used to cure various diseases of others through herbs had no clue of his own sickness.

We were inspired to pray the Divine Mercy with him. My husband held the palm of his hand while he was lying on the bed and started to pray. As we finished the first decade he sat down resting his back against the wall. At the end of the second decade he came forward towards the edge of the bed sitting without support. As we finished the third his other hand held my husband’s hands with a firm grip through out the fourth decade.  We started with the last decade, to our surprise he started reciting along with us. We were filled with joy at this instant miracle. Yes this was the first miracle. "A CRY FOR MERCY FROM THE DEPTH OF HIS SOUL AND OUR LORD OUTPOURED HIS DIVINE MERCY". Many found it difficult to believe.

The next day we took him in an ambulance to Divine Retreat Centre, Muringoor (Potta). Initially it was very difficult for him to sit for long and understand the Word of God though he was a professor in college for a long time and then took up farming guiding his whole village.

On the day of confession he prepared himself listing down his sins on a paper and had a wonderful interactive confession after which he came back to the room weeping like a child. Later he acknowledged that he was feeling very light and good. This was the second miracle of "TRUE CONFESSION".

"Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you"
-Josh 3:5

Then onwards he was freely praising the Lord, writing notes and as he finished his counseling he was filled with joy. We came back from the retreat and then took him to the hospital for a checkup. He had already gained four kilos of weight and after the first course of medication doctor was so touched to see his recovery which was unbelievable.

"Neither herb nor poultice cured them, but it was your word, O Lord, that heals all people"
-Wis 16:12

His recovery and testimony inspired his friends and relatives to attend retreats. He was a very knowledgeable person and used to love reading. As he came back home his thirst was towards spiritual reading. He started spending most of his time in personal prayer, reading scriptures and various other holy books, purifying himself through confession and attending Holy Mass. Third miracle of "TRUE SUBMISSION".

July 2005 he developed fever and was taken to the hospital. On 11July at 5am he breathed his last. Midnight onwards he was continuously reciting 'Alleluia’ and ‘Lord have mercy on me' Fourth miracle "ACCEPTANCE OF GOD’S PLAN".

Jesus said: I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and every one who lives and believes in me will never die - John11:25, 26

This promise of our Lord has taken away our sorrow and filled our hearts with His joy.

If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Rom14:8
