Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
My name is Patricia. Bakulesh and I have been married for the last 13 years. We have a son Branco who is twelve years old. We were longing for a second child but could not conceive. After all the checkups doctors had concluded that it was impossible for me to conceive again and my husband to forget about having a second child as my uterus was not in a position to carry another child. We took this in our stride.
Two years ago I was diagonised with high blood sugar and was put on medication. Last May 2006, while cleaning our home as we were to leave for India on vacation, I felt dizzy and my head was spinning. My husband rushed me to the doctor thinking sugar level had gone up. The doctors conducted the test and found everything normal, they then conducted a pregnancy test and to our surprise it was positive.
We were so happy that we called up every one to give this good news and then proceeded on our vacation to India, where we first went for a 4 day retreat toTabor Bhavan in Kalyan. This was my first ever residential retreat. We had a wonderful time with the Lord, also enjoyed our vacation. Just before we could leave back for Oman I had a miscarriage. That was the 7th week. We were all shattered. Even after coming back to Oman I was highly depressed. During this time my sister-in-law from Dubai called me and spoke to me giving me one verse from the Holy bible. “Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” Job 1:21.
This one verse brought life back into me giving me the strength to carry on with life accepting the plan of my Lord which was for my welfare. From that day on I only had one thought that some day the Lord will bless me again.
It was July 7th 2006 when I had this miscarriage, believe in Christ my brothers and sisters on the 27th of September doctors said that I had conceived again.
This time we did not tell any one. We continued praying to the Lord covering our baby in His precious blood. In the month of December I was asked to do a blood test to check for any abnormality in the baby since I was diabetic and aged 40. The blood test was done and we were anxiously waiting for the report. The report said that our baby was abnormal.
The doctor in Oman said I had to go to India and get the baby aborted for which I was not ready. I was weeping in front of my Lord thanking Him for this little bundle of life in my womb. That same evening my doctor spoke to one of her colleagues and then sent me to her for a complete scan.
This scan report was contradicting the previous one. There were no defects at all! To make things still clear my doctor advised me to go in for the procedure test which is conducted in Banglore, India
I went to India for the test only praying to my Lord and trusting in Him and returned back after the test. We got the reports after 8 days which said baby was normal and healthy. My due date was on or after 29th May but suddenly on 28th April my pressure rose to 161/110 which was a danger mark for me as well as for my baby. Doctor immediately got me admitted to monitor my blood pressure which was fluctuating. Because of this fluctuation the doctor was forced to take a decision on the fifth day to have a C-section. It was difficult for my husband as it was a life/death decision on me and my baby, he went ahead and signed the necessary papers.
During this time my husband called up every one he knew requesting prayers. To our delight on 3rd of May 2007 our baby opened her eyes into this world. We were blessed with a baby girl. Every one around were thrilled and happy but for a short duration of 1 hour; the doctors found out that baby was gasping for breath and her sugar levels were dropping. She was immediately shifted to another hospital and placed in the incubator for 4 days. We were sent home after 10 days from the hospital.
Dear brothers and sisters this was only possible because of the mercy of God and the strength and support of prayers as the doctors described this delivery as a miracle of God and not science.
During my entire pregnancy I was continuously reciting Divine Mercy, covering my womb in the precious blood of Jesus and invoking the intercession of our Mother through the rosary and I would like to testify that we have experienced the power of God. As the Lord says Ask and you shall receive; I believe that I have received the most wonderful gift from my Lord.
In order to give thanks to our Lord and praise to His holy name we have named our little angel Gloria.

Our God is the God of the impossible, have faith in Him, He will never forsake you.
